Six road games, six losses -- and zero hope for a playoff berth, let alone another winning season for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Not even the slumping Golden State Warriors could squander this chance to send the wilting Wolves home from the worst road trip in franchise history with one more defeat. Mike Dunleavy scored 17 of his season-high 24 points in the fourth quarter, and the Warriors...

Kevin Garnett helped Minnesota end a seven-game losing streak, scoring a season-high 37 points in the Timberwolves' 95-89 victory over the sloppy Sacramento Kings on 95-89 on Sunday. After going 0-6 on a trip up and down the West Coast in which they held halftime leads in all six games, the Timberwolves turned it around at home against a Kings team fighting for playoff positioning.

Without Shaquille O'Neal filling the lane for Miami on Tuesday night, Ricky Davis was free to fill the stat sheet and lead Minnesota to victory. Davis had 26 points, a season-high 10 assists and seven rebounds Tuesday night to help the Timberwolves beat the undermanned Heat 100-96, snapping Miami's five-game winning streak.
Garnett's frustration mounts as Timberwolves struggle (AP)
Kevin Garnett has seen some difficult times during his 11 seasons in Minnesota. From the death of teammate and friend Malik Sealy in 2000, to years of first-round playoff exits, to last season's epic fall from Western Conference finalists to the lottery, the disappointments have been many. Yet this may be Garnett's most challenging season yet, and as his Timberwolves sink toward missing the...
Timberwolves 98, Knicks 94 (AP)
After the Minnesota Timberwolves avoided their biggest collapse in franchise history, Kevin Garnett made it clear he doesn't want to go through another season like this one. And both Garnett and Stephon Marbury said they would be open to being reunited in the future -- although neither seems to want to change cities.

It didn't matter that Clifford Robinson had missed seven of his first nine shots. He was open and the game was on the line, and players don't hang around for 17 years in the NBA if they don't cash in more of those opportunities than they squander. Robinson made two 3-pointers late in the fourth quarter to help New Jersey pull away, and the Nets beat Minnesota 86-82 Thursday night for their seventh...
Raptors 97, Timberwolves 77 (AP)
Kevin Garnett does not think his Minnesota teammates have given up -- but he sounds worried about it. Garnett had 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Timberwolves, who were routed by Toronto 97-77 on Friday night. Minnesota has dropped nine of 11 and is 28-41 on the season. "This is probably a test more than anything for everybody, to see who is going to give up and who is going to pack it up and go...

In a matchup of the present and future of NBA power forwards, Kevin Garnett showed Dwight Howard that he still has a lot to learn. Garnett dominated with 27 points, 19 rebounds and six assists to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 103-91 victory over the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night. "Howard is going to be a great player in this league," Timberwolves coach Dwane Casey said.
Taylor says trading Garnett 'not a possibility' (AP)
While Kevin Garnett appears to be growing increasingly impatient with the direction of the Minnesota Timberwolves, owner Glen Taylor says he can't envision a scenario where he would trade the team's only star. "I do not see that as a possibility," Taylor said Wednesday night before the Timberwolves played the Orlando Magic.
